Hydraulic steering

The front half of a low-bed trailer’s swing axles is steered mechanically by the draw bar via the front steering yoke; the rear steering yoke is connected to the front steering yoke with double-acting hydraulic cylinders in such a way that the steering angle of the rear half of the swing axles is in the opposing direction (>> also see: Hydromechanical steering).
